Chaminade has a wealth of experience in the Wedding industry, and are happy to advise on all musical aspects of your special day.

On the wedding day itself, the Quartet will liaise with your vicar, registrar, celebrant, toastmaster or best man to ensure that the music throughout your day runs as smoothly as possible.

Points during the Ceremony where music is appropriate:

  • 15 minutes beforehand, as your guests are arriving and taking their seats
  • Entrance of the Bride
  • Signing of the Register
  • Exit of the Bride & Groom.

After the Ceremony, let the Quartet entertain your guests with music during the photographs and drinks reception.

Chaminade will then provide the perfect accompaniment to your wedding breakfast, with their diverse repertoire that appeals to all ages and musical tastes.
 

With their experience of playing at weddings, Chaminade are happy to suggest pieces which are suitable to be played during the Ceremony itself.

The above suggestions are meant as a guide only, and if you have other pieces which you would prefer to hear on your special day, Chaminade will be more than happy to accommodate your requests where possible.

If you have a particular favourite, or special piece of music that is not listed on our Repertoire pages, please let us know - most music can be arranged for String Quartet.

There are strict rules governing what may be played at a civil marriage. Hymns and music with religious connotations are generally not allowed. Since different Registrars have varying interpretations of these rules, it is advisable to check your musical choices with your Registrar.
